Role Summary:

Our client, the UK’s leading Fire Suppression specialist, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to manage high-profile installation projects nationwide, overseeing delivery from initial planning through to final system commissioning while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance.

The Role

You will take full ownership of assigned fire suppression installation projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to specification. The role offers a flexible hybrid working model combined with regular site presence across the UK.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely manage and deliver fire suppression installation projects

  • Lead projects from planning through to commissioning and handover

  • Ensure projects meet agreed targets for time, cost, quality, and compliance

  • Coordinate labour, subcontractors, suppliers, and materials

  • Maintain effective communication with clients and internal stakeholders

  • Control budgets, forecasting, and project reporting

The Candidate:

  • Demonstrable experience with fire suppression systems, including sprinkler and water mist systems

  • CSCS card holder

  • Background in fire suppression, mechanical engineering, or pipe fitting

  • PRINCE2 certification (or working towards)

  • Strong planning, resource, and financial management skills

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and motivational abilities

  • Full UK Driving Licence

  • Willingness to travel extensively across the UK, including overnight stays

  • Ability to obtain Advanced Security Clearance due to work within the Ministry of Justice

  • Salary of up to £60,000 per annum
