Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Private Clients Account Handler to join a professional and high-performing Private Clients team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in High Net Worth (HNW) insurance, with experience managing High Value Home and Motor accounts, either in a broking or underwriting capacity. This is a client-facing role requiring a proactive and detail-oriented approach, strong technical expertise, and a passion for delivering outstanding service.
Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for Private Clients, building and maintaining strong relationships.
Understand clients' insurance needs and provide tailored advice and service.
Policy Management
Manage policy renewals, mid-term adjustments, and documentation with precision.
Liaise with underwriters to secure favourable terms and appropriate cover for clients.
Ensure policy records, endorsements, and certificates are accurate and up to date.
Risk Assessment and Analysis
Evaluate client risk profiles to identify coverage needs, gaps, and improvements.
Keep abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks.
Policy Compliance
Ensure client policies meet regulatory and contractual obligations.
Communicate relevant compliance or regulatory updates to clients where applicable.
Documentation and Reporting
Maintain comprehensive, well-organised electronic client files.
Produce client portfolio summaries and reports as required.
New Business Development
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within the existing client base.
Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to team targets and business growth.
Insurance Knowledge and Training
Stay current with HNW insurance products, market changes, and regulatory standards.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
Customer Service Excellence
Deliver an exceptional client experience by addressing enquiries promptly and professionally.
Contribute to high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
Quality Assurance
Conduct peer reviews and quality checks on policy documentation.
Recommend process improvements to enhance service efficiency and reduce errors.
Other Duties
Support additional responsibilities as required by management to meet evolving business needs.
The Candidate:
Strong knowledge of HNW insurance products, underwriting principles, and FCA regulations.
Proven experience with High Value Home and Motor policies in a broking or underwriting capacity.
Exceptional communication and client service skills.
High attention to detail in policy administration and documentation.
Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
Proficiency in Acturis insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Commitment to ethical business practices and industry compliance standards.
Ability to work effectively in a team and engage confidently with clients and stakeholders.
The Offer:
£35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
