Role Summary:

We are in search of a qualified Mechanic with recent experience in a similar role. The chosen candidate will be instrumental in conducting routine vehicle and plant services, diagnosing faults, and ensuring the safe operation of our fleet and equipment. Responsibilities:

· Perform annual services on company fleet vehicles and conduct routine inspections.

· Diagnose and repair faults on vehicles and equipment, ensuring safe onward journey or arranging recovery where necessary.

· Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including digital data entry and paperwork/documentation.

· Order and manage inventory of equipment and machinery parts, ensuring availability and accuracy.

· Liaise with internal colleagues, external suppliers, and clients to support the proper performance of the role and ensure timely resolution of issues.

· Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations and procedures at all times.

· Share knowledge and technical information with colleagues and non-technical audiences.

· Uphold and reflect the ethos and values of the Company in all interactions.

· Undertake any other duties as may be reasonably required by the Company.

Essential Requirements:

· NVQ Level 3 diploma in light vehicle repair or equivalent qualification.

· Recent experience working in a similar mechanic role.

· IT literate with experience of digital data entry.

· Good diagnostic and fault-finding ability.

· Full UK driving licence.

· Methodical approach to problem-solving.

· Accurate with excellent attention to detail.

· An excellent understanding and application of health, safety & environment practices.

· Flexibility in approach to work.

· Physically fit and able-bodied, willing and competent at working at heights.

· Good communication skills.

· Self-motivated and a team player.

· Able and willing to work in inclement weather.

The Offer:

Salary: £35,000 per annum
