Role Summary:
Our client is a well recognised engineering firm in their field, manufacturing precision components for their customer base within various industries. The heart and soul of the company is in creativity and innovation, and quality is the foundation that their business and reputation was built on.
Responsibilities:
They are looking to add an experience CNC Machinist to their team. In this role you will be operating manual and CNC turning machinery or CNC milling machinery to conduct internal and external turning or milling of components to customer drawings.
The Candidate:
Who are we looking for? You must have experience in the following;
Time-served Turner or Time-served Miller with recent CNC experience
Experience of programming and operating CNC Turning or Milling machine
Ability to turn to tight tolerances and a good understanding of geometric symbols
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Knowledge of Fanuc programming language
Self-motivated with an eye for detail and effective communication skills
Ability to hit the ground running and enjoy working within a small skilled team
Customer Service experience is essential, along with excellent people skills
The Offer:

Shifts on offer are as follows, these can be rotating or permanent early or back shift.
Early Shift: Monday to Thursday 6am – 2pm (30 minute /15 minute Both breaks paid), Friday 6am – 11am
Back Shift: Monday to Thursday 2pm – 10pm (30 minute /15 minute Both breaks paid), Friday 11am – 4pm
