Role Summary:

Our client is a specialist asset rental business in the European logistics sector, serving various related markets. Their focus is on top-tier, high-value rental products, with over 35 years of consistent performance. Operating primarily in the UK but expanding across Europe, the portfolio includes over 22,500 assets, such as commercial vehicles, trailers, buses, coaches, sweepers, and temperature-controlled products. They are now looking for a Generator Engineer to add to their talent.

Identify and troubleshoot faults, conduct repairs, and perform maintenance on diesel generators and associated rental equipment.
Stay current with administrative duties, ensuring accurate documentation of parts usage and time allocation.
Support in managing hire contracts and preparing equipment for rental.
Maintain tools and equipment in a safe and organised manner.
Adhere to both company and legal safety protocols.
Cultivate and sustain relationships with clients and colleagues.
Offer technical guidance and advice as needed.

Possession of a full valid driving license
Demonstrated expertise in diesel engines, gearboxes, hydraulics, electrics, and braking systems
18th Edition Electrical Qual
Strong customer service skills coupled with effective communication abilities
Preferably holds an Electrical Engineering qualification or equivalent

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 plus discretionary bonus
Remote position with occasional reporting to either Manchester or Milton Keynes for team meetings and travel required across the UK to meet customer needs
