Role Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Door Engineer with experience in either mechanical or electrical installations. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of specialist doors, including electrically operated systems. This is a national role, requiring frequent travel from Monday morning to Friday lunchtime, with accommodation and expenses provided when working away.

Installation, service, and maintenance of specialist doors and associated hardware.
Work as part of a team, either leading or assisting with projects.
Complete all relevant Health & Safety paperwork and ensure compliance with site safety standards.
Use power tools (drills, grinders, etc.) and other mechanical equipment on site.
Ensure projects are completed to high standards and within the allocated time frame.
Train and supervise team members to adhere to safety documentation and procedures.

Must have CSCS or SSSTS card.
Electricians must be qualified to BS7671 18th Edition.
Experience working on mechanical or electrical installations in a site environment.
Familiarity with power tools and other site equipment.
IPAF and PASMA certifications (training provided, but fees will need to be reimbursed if you leave within one year).
Must pass Security Clearance (SC), including background checks, DBS, medical, and drug/alcohol tests.

£35,000 per annum
Hourly Rate: £17/hour (up to £20/hour for Supervisor-level candidates)
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm, Friday 8:00am - 2:00pm. Some weekends required, depending on site location.
£25 overnight allowance for accommodation and food while working away.
Pension scheme.
25 days holiday, with 3 days held for Christmas/New Year.
Days in lieu for working on bank holidays.
