Role Summary:

We are looking for a Personal Lines Insurance Executive to join a well-established insurance broker based in Newcastle-under-Lyme. As a Personal Lines Insurance Executive, you will join a small friendly team who cover all aspects of personal lines including homes insurance, motor insurance, travel insurance and pet insurance.

Handle all customer enquiries by fact-finding and listening to customers to gain detailed knowledge and understand individual needs
Offer a range of personal lines insurance including, buildings, contents, travel, pet, caravan, and personal legal expenses
Produce quotes for personal use motor insurance
With wide access to specialist insurers, search for the most competitive products best suited to individual customers
Responsible for proactively securing customer renewals
Process all required insurance paperwork from clients ensuring all client files are fully compliant with policies, procedures, GDPR and FCA Regulations
Provide a high-quality after-service to all customers including professional advice and support for any claims

Someone who is proactive when following up on leads passed from the fleet and commercial department to ensure that clients receive a prompt and quality focussed service
Able to take a proactive approach when following up on outstanding sales quotes and closing sales
Confident at fact finding on any lost quotes to keep up to date on competitor information
Follow up on any lapsed clients, taking a proactive approach to cross-selling across all insurance products, ensuing you capture all renewal dates
A background in personal lines and motor insurance is essential with a knowledge of Home, Travel, Pet, and Car insurance products
Experience using Open Gi or Acturis is essential
Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels
Warm and personable individual who is a customer focused with an excellent attention to detail and a strong business acumen
Insurance qualifications would be an advantage however this is not essential
