Role Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated external sales rep to join a successful electrical wholesale business. Our clients are well respected within the industry and are looking to grow their high performing branches across the country.

The role will be based out of a highly successful branch in Hereford and within the local surrounding market.

Responsibilities:

  • Directly contribute to the branch profits through maintaining existing business and creating new customer relationships and sales. You will be dealing with Electrical Contractors, Buyers and a range of end users to build effective supplier relationships.

  • Create sales plans and strategies to build of existing business and to drive new business development.

  • Visit customers on a regular basis, work closely with them to understand upcoming projects or peaks in activity.

  • Call prospective new clients to make initial appointments and gain interest. Convert initial enquiries into customer sales.

  • Prepare quotations and follow these through to completion, dealing with any enquiries or issues along the way.

  • Achieve individual and branch KPIs, working with the Branch Manager and Internal Sales to maximise branch profits.

  • A successful track record of business development, field sales and delivering a first-class customer experience within an industrial electrical background.

  • An excellent communicator who builds trust and relationships quickly, a confident negotiator and decision maker.

The Offer:

  • Salary £30,000 - £35,000 basic (Dependant on experience) +uncapped commission and bonus.
