APPRENTICE OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
We have a fantastic opportunity for an office administrator to join our growing business, based in Ossett.
The role will be working within the business support function which covers a range of activities and subjects, including construction management and recruitment.
This role will allow you to gain on the job experience whilst working towards a nationally recognised qualification, Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner Apprenticeship.
Following completion of this qualification, there will be further opportunity for development. This doesn’t necessarily have to be in administration, you may take a liking to finance, or something entirely different. These options will be discussed with you along the way.
Answering phone calls from customers and clients, communicating in a professional manner and taking messages when necessary
Sending/responding to emails from customers and clients
Working on/updating company IT systems and websites
Updating social media (Facebook and Instagram)
Using Microsoft Packages, in particular Outlook, Word and Excel
Assisting with financial duties (inputting invoices, filing, etc.)
General administrative duties (scanning, filing, etc.)
Occasionally, you may be required to attend our offices/sites throughout the UK. Travel will be provided and paid for by the company
Minimum 5 GCSEs (grade 4 – 9 or equivalent)
Excellent IT skills
Confident communicator both verbally and written
Keen to learn and develop skills and knowledge
Punctual and well organised
Detail oriented and diligent in carrying out tasks
National Minimum Wage for an Apprentice, which is currently £4.30 per hour
35-hour week, Mon - Thu: 09:00 – 17:00, Fri: 09:00 – 14:00
